Scout.com made it official today! Just passing along some info in case you haven’t heard.I don’t know how interested the Cats were in really signing Bowman or Jefferson for that matter anyway. I think that Jody Demling said it best about UK’s recruiting situation.
Scoop- As you know there have been numerous Junior College players names come up in association with UK lately. Marvin Jefferson, Tyrone Appleton, Josh Harrellson and Ken Bowman. Do you think it is a real possibility that UK could offer one of these or another juco player?
Demling- I assume that Appleton is No. 1 on the list and I believe he already has an offer. He’s a really hot commodity right now, so getting a commitment from Appleton would be a HUGE addition! With the other guys, I may be reading the staff wrong but as of now I don’t think they have found the guy they want to really go after. So they will keep searching.
