UK Vs. Georgia : Keys to The Game

I think that the Cats need to do 3 things, and do them well if they want to win the game today.

  • Defend the 3
  • Get offensive boards
  • Score in transition

Georgia’s leading scorer is Billy Humphrey who averages 13.6 points a game. Humphrey (above) can light it up from 3 and will require a shadow at all times during the game. The emergence of Perry Stevenson has been the biggest surprise in my opinion in the past few weeks. If Stevenson, Patterson and Coury can get a few garbage points off of offensive boards it can take what would in my opinion be a late 4 or 5 point lead to a 12 point lead.  (which would be HUGE, because the cats have what seems to be a 7 and a half man rotation of late and could be tired late) The Cats must take advantage of Patterson in the Post today. I also believe that the team who does the best in transition will be in better position to win the game late. This game might be low scoring/low possession and a few easy buckets could be the difference. Enjoy the game guys! Thanks for stopping by, we are working hard to secure some more interviews and updates on potential recruits. Have a good weekend!
