Udofia has been a big time target since bursting onto the scene as a freshman averaging 16.4 points per game. Udofia has been labled as inconsistent at times causing the interest in his services to fluctuate right along with his level of play.

Udofia seemed to hit stride early in his junior season. The No. 8 ranked (AAAA) Miller Grove Wolverines started the season with Udofia averaging 28 points, 2.3 steals and 5.7 assists in the first three games. In March of 08′ Udofia was named to the Alabama Sportswriter Association all-state basketball class 3A first team, along with fellow UK target Noel Johnson.

Here is a look at some of Udofia’s big games this past season.

• 11/21/07  Miller Grove 82, Druid Hills 41-  Mfon Udofia led all scoring with 29 points and added 6 assists
• 11/23/07  Miller Grove 84, Stephenson 65 @Stephenson-
  Wolverines advance to championship game of DCS Tip-Off Tournament. Mfon Udofia led the way with 34 points and 7 assists. Justin Allen added 15 points, 5 assists, and 6 rebounds. Stephen Hill chipped in with 10 points and 6 rebounds.
• 11/24/07  Miller Grove 51, Redan 50 @Redan- Wolverines win the 2007 DCS Tip-Off Tournament championship. Mfon Udofia finished with 17 points and 8 assists. Udofia named MVP of the tournament
• 12/01/07  Miller Grove 70, Tucker 62 @Miller Grove -Mfon Udofia led all scorers with a career high of 40 pts.
• 12/04/07 Miller Grove 66, Columbia 82 @Miller Grove- Mfon Udofia led the Wolverines with 28 pts, 7 rebs, 3 steals, and 4 assists
• 12/07/07  Miller Grove 72, Washington 36 @Washington- Mfon Udofia led all scoring with 22 pts.
• 12/11/07 Miller Grove 87, North Springs 72 @North Springs- Mfon Udofia finished with 36pts, 8 rebs, 6 assists, and 6 stls
• 12/14/07 Miller Grove 83, Stone Mountain 81 @Stone Mountain- Mfon Udofia led scoring with 31pts.
• 12/27/07 Miller Grove 48, Archbishop Moeller (OH),51- Fell short to #7 ranked team in the nation. Mfon Udofia led all scorers with 23pts.
• 12/28/07 Miller Grove 59, Harding University (NC)- The night after a tough overtime loss. The Wolverines  Defeat top ranked team in North Carolina. Mfon Udofia finished with 21pts 10rebs 6 assists.
• Miller Grove 76, Jeannette (PA), 65-Finished 2-1 in the nation’s top holiday tournament. Mfon Udofia led scoring with 25pts. Udofia also garned all tournament team along with Samardo Samuels (St. Benedict), Derrick Favors (South Atlanta), Greg Echenique (St. Benedict), and Quinn McDowell (Archbishop Moeller).
• 01/15/08 Miller Grove 76, Lakeside, DeKalb 67 @Miller Grove- Mfon Udofia led all scorers with 33 pts
• 01/18/08 Miller Grove 90, Washington 65 @Miller Grove- Udofia scores 31
• 01/25/08 Miller Grove 65, St Pius X 48 @St Pius- Udofia scores 26
• 01/29/08 Miller Grove 78, Southwest DeKalb 48 @Miller Grove - Udofia is the games leading scorer with 29
• 02/08/08 Miller Gorve 58, Mays 51- Udofia led all scorers with 26
• 02/13/08 Miller Grove 78, Mays 64- Udofia led all scorers with 27
• 02/15/08 Miller Grove 68, Tucker 48- Udofia led all scoring again with 25 points.
• 02/16/08 Miller Grove 64, Stone Mountain 63 @Stone Mountain – Udofia led all scorers with 27, in this region 6-AAAA finals game.
• 02/22/08  Miller Grove 60, Cedar Shoals 57 (OT (State Playoffs – 1st Rd)) @Miller Grove – Udofia led all scorers with 26 points.
• 3/1/08 Miller Grove 62, Lithia Springs 58 AAAA State Quarterfinals.- Udofia led all scoring with 25

The Wolverines went on to lose in the Final Four 68-76 to Fayette County. Udofia had other games throughout the season where he posted 10+ points and assists. Overall Udofia has made strides this season and he deserves to be mentioned among the top 40 players in his class. No offer has been extended from the Wildcat’s staff, but their is some interest on both ends. As of now Gerogia Tech, Cincinnati, Marquette,Tennessee, Virginia, Wake Forest and new south Carolina Coach Darrin Horn have offered Udofia a ride. This kid is the real deal, a proven leader and most of all a winner.
